Orano’s UK business has nearly 50 years of experience working in the UK nuclear sector. Our local teams have a clear and experienced understanding of the UK nuclear landscape, its regulatory framework, client and national priorities. We offer technical services that span the entire nuclear lifecyle, from design to decommissioning and nuclear waste and material management, and have a tangible track record of delivering for UK clients in both the civil nuclear and defence sector.
Who do we work for?
Orano works and has worked with the vast majority of UK nuclear clients, through direct client contracts, as part of industry-leading joint ventures or as partner in the supply chain. Our clients lead key strategic programmes in the nuclear sector, whether that is for the management of the UK’s nuclear waste and materials, decommissioning of crucial parts of the UK’s nuclear legacy, or keeping the nation safe.
How do we deliver for our clients?
Orano has a track record of collaborative delivery, meaning we have extensive experience of working with clients as part of a fully integrated team, providing staff who work as embeddded personnel on client sites, or delivering as part of joint ventures or the wider supply chain.
