Orano is proud to congratulate Fatemah Jafar, one of our talented graduate team members, on her acceptance into Women in Nuclear UK’s (WiN UK) STEAMAZING Inspiration Academy for 2025. The programme is dedicated to inspiring and empowering girls to explore careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).
What is the STEAMAZING Inspiration Academy?
Recently partnering with Women in Nuclear UK, the STEAMAZING Inspiration Academy is a mentoring initiative designed to connect female STEM professionals with young girls in secondary education. Through mentorship and outreach activities, the programme aims to break down barriers, challenge stereotypes, and inspire the next generation of female scientists, engineers, and industry leaders.
Fatemah has always been a passionate advocate for scientific outreach, and so we are proud to support her in the STEAMazing programme. Reflecting on her motivation, Fatemah said that,“it’s crucial to inspire the next generation to pursue science and maths, ensuring a diverse and talented workforce ready for the challenges of tomorrow.”
