Data Quality Objectives Training

Providing training, which promotes the relevance and advantages of systematic planning using the Data Quality Objectives (DQO) methodology

Overview

Training provided to various industry clients.

Orano Projects activities

To promote the relevance and advantages of systematic planning using the Data Quality Objectives methodology, Orano Projects Limited developed and delivered a five-day training course to approximately 30 delegates from various nuclear and non-nuclear industry clients.

Providing instruction on the practical management and implementation of the U.S. EPA's Seven-Step DQO Methodology, the training course focused on how the DQO methodology streamlines and documents the planning process, with a view to reaching technically defensible decisions.

Value added

  • Training led by recognised experts in Data Quality Objectives (DQO) methodology and the Visual Sample Plan (VSP) support tool, with the experience and knowledge to respond effectively to questions relating to specific project issues faced by clients.
  • Practical, hands-on sessions covering use of the VSP software for all delegates in combination with classroom style presentations.
  • Course presenters also play a key role in developing the VSP software for industry, and were therefore able to pass on feedback from course delegates regarding their use and requirements of the software, with a view to incorporating these needs into future editions of Visual Sample Plan (VSP).
