With an initial contract period of up to seven years, Orano will be working as part of the Dounreay Wood Alliance, alongside main contractor Wood and three other partners, EDF-Cyclife, GDES and Aquila.
Covering the full scope of decommissioning services required to achieve the desired interim and end state of the site, Orano offers unique expertise in decommissioning planning, development and underpinning of the decommissioning baseline, alongside core capabilities in waste characterisation, mechanical and design engineering, and specialist technical consultancy.
Headed up by its technical delivery business in the UK, Orano will deliver services through its UK based engineering and consultancy teams, with unique reach-back to the full capability of Orano in France.
