Location
- The role is based at our Abingdon office.
- Travel may be required on occasion between Orano offices and Client sites.

This exciting and innovative graduate programme is designed to develop talented individuals who will grow and potentially lead our business in the future.
You will have the opportunity to work across several different business functions to gain full appreciation of the nuclear lifecycle and understand how Orano Limited have earned an enviable reputation, built on the principles of quality, service and trust.
Each graduate is allocated a mentor over a two-year period, who will work closely with you to support the induction process and your subsequent career development.
The role
This role is Permanent, Full-time and a 37- hours a week contract.
During your time as a graduate process engineer, you will be part of a 2-year graduate scheme in which your employment will continue thereafter. Your work here will have a real impact on making our world safer both for now and for future generations to come. This early exposure will equip you with the breadth of knowledge to ensure you start off with a strong footing in your career with us.
Within the Process Engineering discipline of Orano Limited, you will provide engineering support by delivering engineering reports and calculations to the required time, cost and quality under direction of engineers or senior engineers. There may be an opportunity to do secondments with other disciplines that you are interested in too.
As a Graduate Process Engineer at Orano Limited, some of the specialist tasks you could be involved in are:
- Production of design deliverables (e.g. drawings, reports or calculations) to agreed standards of safety, cost, quality and time.
- Involvement in improvement initiatives and projects.
- Comply with all legislative, regulatory and company policy standards and processes applicable to the role.
About you
We are much more interested in what you could do, than what you have already done. The Process team encourage diversity of thought and welcome applications of candidates with transferable skills that can be applied to our projects, therefore, all candidates will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
To be eligible for this opportunity, you will:
- A degree (or working towards) in Chemical Engineering.
- The successful candidate must, by the start of the employment, have permission to work in the UK.
In addition to this, you may have the following transferable skills:
- Demonstrate initiative while problem solving within assigned tasks.
